FAQ

Why does the app need my location? To find pubs near you and estimate how far they are to walk. Location is used only while you're using the app, and it isn't stored or transmitted to the developer. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Why is a pub's "open / closed" status wrong? Pub hours come from Google Places. They can be inaccurate or out of date. Always verify with the venue before heading out.

Why is the walking distance different from what my maps app says? Distances come from Google's Routes API at the moment you tap "Find pubs" and are walking estimates. Real-world conditions (road closures, crossings, accessibility) can differ. Use your own judgement.

Is Neutral Pint medical or nutrition advice? No. It's a playful estimate. Calorie numbers and walking distances are rough. Drink responsibly, and consult a medical professional for anything health-related.

How do I reset or delete my profile? Deleting the app removes all locally stored profile data.

How old do I have to be to use this app? You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (18+ in most places, 21+ in the U.S.).
